Summary:
We’re delighted that Thameside Council have granted outline planning permission for our masterplan at Godley Green Garden Village — a significant milestone for this ambitious new community in the Greater Manchester area.
As lead masterplanners and landscape architects on the project, we’ve worked closely with the incredible team at the visionary master developer MADE Partnership, to help shape an exemplar garden village of up to 2,150 new homes, supported by a new local centre, primary school, and extensive areas of public open space.
Our work has helped structure a connected network of streets, neighbourhoods and green infrastructure — with a strong emphasis on walkability, landscape-led design and access to significant green and blue infrastructure across the site.
This has been a truly collaborative effort with MADE bringing together an incredible consultant team to create a robust framework that balances vision with deliverability, and supports long-term stewardship for a growing community.
We’re looking forward to developing the reserved matters for the first phases to see this project come to life very soon.
