Summary:

IDP were appointed by IM Properties to develop a masterplan for the urban extension of Lichfield as part of a wider land permission for 3000 units they are seeking to secure in Lichfield. Our masterplan continues the narrative of green infrastructure and stitching this into the historic town fabric. The project will create a community of 750 homes, a primary school, a retirement living complex with extra care and a care home facility.

At the centre of the masterplan is a craft village, formerly a working farm. The farm and its buildings form a pivotal part of the masterplan to be able to create a future neighbourhood centre for the whole urban extension, consisting of small, local and diverse businesses.

Our landscape design creates a network of green and blue infrastructure that threads its way through the entire development ensuring everyone is continually in contact with an experience of the natural world and the natural landscape; this concept very much underpins the masterplan establishing a great setting for people to live.
